Film Thurrock Productions

Film Thurrock works closely with students of South Essex College to provide transformative working experiences for them through involving them in professional film production, festival programming and event delivery.

We support our Young Film Network by nurturing the development of scripts and productions with film and game makers.

Films and games made are screened at Thurrock Screen Culture Festival and viewed by professionals in the industry. Filmmakers are able to get constructive feedback and advice to develop their productions further.

Our partnership with Game Dev London offers direct industry networking opportunities at BAFTA and the BFI.

Steve Teers

Production Consultant

Steve is a highly skilled documentary and factual entertainment offline editor with a vast amount of producing experience. He has many credits to his name for cable and terrestrial channels, and his work for Channel 5 has ensured he is now a firm favourite amongst their producers.

Specialised in rapidly finding a witty story or an unexpected angle and crafting high-ratio broadcast observational documentaries with a socio-political funky edge, he has the skills, creativity and wisdom every edit needs.

Besides editing, Steve has also been producing, directing and shooting corporate, music and documentary films. His specialty is a strong sense of documentary narrative with an innate sense of rhythm and choreographic imagery.
